Description:
This role is leadership oriented and will be core to the growth of our entire Development Team over the next 6 months. You will be tasked with the following areas of focus (this list is not intended to be all inclusive as we can’t think of everything we might ask you to contribute your time and talent to):
New feature development with the Alyss web platform.
Manage version control & healthy system services.
Commit to agile milestones to deliver new features.
Integration into partner companies with rest API
Mentoring, teaching, and inspiring our Junior Developers as they join.
Skill Focus: Hard skills are important, but we value successful milestones over resumes. Developers applying for this position are best positioned for success at Alyss with the following: - Strong focus in: Java, Python, Rest API’s
- Comfortable in: Javascript, Docker, Gradle, MCV Design Pattern, Git, SQL, XML
- Cloud environment experience, preferably Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. (In that order)
- Bonus Points: CSS, HTML5, jQuery, R
Above all we value lifetime learners. As a startup, this role will be as focused as possible but will also require learning new skills and applying them. This position will focus on back end development and integrations into partner companies API’s with a splash of front end development as needed.
