Alyss Analytics technology wins pitch competition
at tech conference in Lincoln, NE.
WICHITA, Kan. (June 6, 2018) – The Alyss Analytics team was awarded the top prize at the Inside/Outside Innovation Summit pitch contest May 31, 2018 in Lincoln. Startup founders,tech executives, and investors attended the I/OIS, a 2-day, intensive experience designed to help tech startups learn and scale faster.
Strategic Partnerships Executive Taylor Stevenson’s presentation touched on how the
future of the HR department is going to be driven by data and how Alyss helps quantify the soft skills in employees for companies to better understand their human resources data. His presentation was in competition with startups from Chicago, New York, and Australia.
Stevenson says, “People were really excited about Alyss’ technology, our team, and our
vision. They understood that Alyss can play a central role in helping companies gather and interpret their human analytics.”
I/O IS hosted guests from over 100 companies. Participating companies came from industries ranging from financial tech to insurance tech, marketing tech, human resources tech, and artificial intelligence, among others.
Stevenson adds, “The momentum that Alyss captured from winning the competition will
help propel our vision forward into broader markets. Our success in this competition is
further evidence of how Wichita is on the rise with regard to innovation and disruption.”
